The latest versions of the Cortexa software can be updated/upgraded through the following urls.

Cortexa recommends writing down the software version and build number prior to performing any update. If any significant issues arise, reverting to an appropriate earlier version will still be possible with this information.

New Cortexa Hardware

With the release of v5.0 of the Cortexa Software and the Graphite interface, a new method of upgrading the software was developed. This new form of upgrading the software is designed to be more secure and will not make the Cortexa inoperable if the software update did not complete and the unit was powered down. This new method to update the Cortexa is referred to as Software Upgrade and can be accessed via the Administration > Software Upgrade.

Note: Early releases of the New Cortexa Hardware still had the Software Update system. These systems are currently running Cortexa Version 4.10. Updating these systems to version 4.11 requires a modification to the drive that can not be done via the interface. Please contact Cortexa support via email (support@cortexa.com) to fix this issue.

For the most recent Graphite release of the software, copy the url below into Upgrade Url: field. Click the <Check Now> button, to confirm that a newer release is available. If the information in the filled in New Version is different than the information in the Current Version, proceed to update by clicking <Upgrade Now>. After the software is updated, the Cortexa will prompt the user to reboot the system, by clicking a link.

7202 and Prior Versions

To update the Cortexa software on a 7202, navigate to Administration > Software Update.
For the most recent release of the software, copy the url below into Update Url: field. Click the <Check Now> button, to confirm that a newer release is available. If the information in the filled in New Software Version is different than the information in the installed software version, proceed to update by clicking <Update Software Now>. After the software is updated, the Cortexa will prompt the user to reboot the system, by clicking a link on the page.
